About Northern Beaches Hospital

Northern Beaches Hospital opened in 2018, replacing the former Manly and Mona Vale hospitals as the principal acute care facility for the Northern Beaches. Operated as a public-private partnership by Healthscope, it serves a coastal population of over 250,000 residents. The ED is a modern, high-capacity department designed to handle the region's growing demand, including seasonal surges from beachgoers and tourists.
